The T-n-T Scholarship Fund was created with an Imperial Proclamation by Emperor II, Terry Freeman during Coronation III in December 2000.

These funds are appropriated by the Imperial Royal Sovereign Court of the Desert Empire, Inc. a non-profit 501(c)3 Nevada corporation, consisting of volunteer members raising funds to better the community.

For: Students who are personally and actively involved in the support of human and civil rights, who also have an interest in pursuing higher education in any field.

Qualifications: (At the time of application, the applicant must meet all)

  • Male or Female who are pursuing an education beyond the secondary level in one or more of the following areas: College/University, Trade/Vocational or the Arts
  • Applying for, accepted for enrollment or enrolled in an accredited, licensed educational program beyond the secondary level within the state of Nevada
  • The student may be enrolled full or part-time
  • Must have resided in Nevada for at least two (2) years
  • Must show proof of personal involvement with verification (i.e. letter of support)
  • Must submit an application for and an essay of not less than 300 words, but not more than 1000 words, to include studies, goals and personal interests. This should be done non-gender specific, so as to be judged impartially by our committee

Award: At coronation, a disbursement of $500.00 (subject to change) per student will be awarded and made payable to the recipient for tuition, classes, books and/or required labs. Monies may be awarded through-out the year with committee approval.

Deadline: Applications and essays must be submitted to the address below no later than October 1st of each year.

Selection Process: The "College of Monarchs" will determine eligibility, review all applications and essays. A recommendation from the monarchs will be used in the selection process. The Scholarships will be awarded to the recipients at coronation the first weekend in December of each year. Date, time and location will be determined and the recipient notified by mail and a personal phone call of congratulations.
